Welcome to the Manchester Local Exchange Trading System.
Here you can sign up and start trading immediately!
Please make sure you read our Membership Agreement before you sign up so you know what you are getting yourself into.
The way it works:
- Create an account.
- Create a list of services you would be willing to trade. There is a potential list of things you can offer here. Please try to keep your prices to around 6M/hour for non-professional services.
- Look through the directory of services that other members are offering.
- If you see an Offer you would like to take up, contact the other member and wait for a reply (by email).
- Negotiate the terms of your trade according to our guidelines.
- Trade!
- Leave feedback for your exchange.
The whole system is pretty intuitive, but we will be creating a guide to exactly how to use the software over the next few weeks. If you have any problems or questions, just contact us here and we will get right back to you and then add your question to our guide for the benefit of others.
